Stand Development
During this stage, there isn't much going on with plant and animal life.
When plant life is just starting to form, bugs and birds are the first to arrive.
Frogs and other small mammals arrive from the habitats around the developing area.
Larger animals such as deer, cows, rabbits and gophers come to inhabit the area.
Animals present in the already recovering environment will adapt to the changing greenery.
Bigger and more complex plants and organisms move in to complete the process.
