Human Impact on Air Quality
*The main cause of a lot of the air pollution is all of the fossil fuels that we humans burn as fuel for various machines. This relates to the increase in the industrial activity from the Industrial Revolution. Along with the human population increase, this releases more methane and nitrous oxide into the air.

*Acid rain is formed from sulfur dioxide and nitrous oxide from the air combine with water vapor in the air, the rain causes damage to structures and can acidify lakes and soil. This can degrade the quality of plants or crops or alter their biochemistry all together. In fact, some historical buildings in Washington D.C. are already showing damage of acid rain.
*Other air pollutants can disrupt the ozone layer leading to higher levels of thermal radiation and ultraviolet damage. Too much heat or radiation can cause damage to almost any and everything on earth.
